From the Mareeba CBD, Mareeba Drive-In is approximately 6 km or a 6-minute drive. Simply follow the Kennedy Highway out of Mareeba towards Atherton and continue for around six minutes.
Keep an eye out for the Rodeo Drive-In sign on your left and you’ve found us.
22 Minutes from Atherton
Coming from Atherton? Mareeba Drive-In Theatre is approximately 27 km or a 22-minute drive from Atherton, making a night at the movies an easy addition to an evening out on the Atherton Tablelands.
Follow the Kennedy Highway from Atherton towards Mareeba. As you approach the drive-in, look for the Rodeo Drive-In sign on your right.
Around One Hour from Cairns
Looking for a drive-in cinema near Cairns? Mareeba Drive-In is approximately one hour by car from Cairns, making it an easy addition to a day trip or weekend exploring Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands.
Make your way from Cairns to Mareeba, then continue along the Kennedy Highway towards Atherton for another six minutes to reach the drive-in.
And if you don't fancy making the drive home after the final credits roll, you may be able to stay overnight at Mareeba Drive-In for free on movie nights.
